CII organized ‘The Industry – IT Summit 2013’ on 18-19 March 2013 in New Delhi, inaugurating the event with Chief Guest Mr Kapil Sibal, Minister for Communications and Information Technology.
The event emphasized on the need for a consistent policy framework for the IT sector from a long term perspective which will help transform the business landscape with enhanced IT adoption, and in turn create a significant contribution to India’s GDP. Mr Abhay, Special Secretary, Department of Information Technology and Electronics & Project Director, e-Suvidha, Govt. of Uttar Pradesh addressed the Plenary Session 2: Opportunities and Challenges in IT Enabling of India of the Industry – IT Summit 2013 along with open house discussion along with Industry Persons Mr Neeraj Aggarwal, Partner & Managing Director , The Boston Consulting Group; Mr JV Ramamurthy, President and COO, HCL Infosystems Limited; Mr Som Mittal, President, NASSCOM and Mr Ganesh Lakshminarayanan, Head, Sales Operations, Dell Asia Pacific and Japan & Managing Director, Dell International Services.
