Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC) invited Department of IT & Electronics, Government of Uttar Pradesh to be a part of the Startup & Innovation Summit: START-O-VATION 2016. The summit was held at Hotel Shangri-La Eros at New Delhi on 8th July 2016 from 9.45 am onwards.
The START-O-VATION summit witnessed the participation of leadership personnel of Union Government, selected State Government which promote the start-up culture, Nasscom team, leadership personalities from Bombay Stock Exchange, United States Educational Foundation of India, successful startup entrepreneurs etc.
ICC has requested Principal Secretary, Department of IT & Electronics, Government of Uttar Pradesh to be a speaker at the event to present Uttar Pradesh Startup Policy 2016 at the summit, as they believe that the state is emerging as an important destination for startups. In their opinion, the UP Startup Policy 2016 focuses on various important tenants of startup ecosystem, which would greatly benefit the entrepreneurial community.
